"What I learn from my world with the language of love" is the book for my senior thesis project. Initially, I set out to create works akin to spiritual 'chicken soup for the soul,' but as I delved into the process, I gradually realized that I must heal myself before healing others. And that became the original purpose of this book. Creating this book has led me to a profound conversation with my inner ego and a journey of deep self-discovery. It was a struggle at times, and at one point I could hardly continue and almost gave up.
I found that exploring my heart and being honest with my feelings was not easy. This book reflected the process I was going through. Through self-analysis, I gained a deeper understanding of myself and realized that I have been living in a world of love.
I hope that this book will not only document my healing journey, but also bring the power of healing to readers. I chose to incorporate 3D elements into my work because my inner world reflects my outer experiences. Additionally, I truly enjoyed squeezing the silkscreen pigments to add variety and depth to my pieces. The front and back covers, as well as the endpapers, feature microscopic photographs of human blood, symbolizing that this is a work into which I have poured my heart and soul.
